Trees absorb an average of 10 to 40 kg of CO2 annually, with a conservative estimate of 800 kg per tree over its lifetime.
While you can certainly communicate your contribution to maintaining a sustainable carbon sink, you can't use the estimate as a purely indicative value in your carbon accounting. Indeed, voluntary carbon offset standards require the use of verified carbon credits. We sell such credits, but it is a separate offer; feel free to contact us if you want to obtain carbon removal credits for our non-financial reporting.
