Larch

Larches are deciduous conifers in the genus Larix, of the family Pinaceae (subfamily Laricoideae). Growing from 20 to 45 metres mostly in Europe, Asia and North America. In Europe, the most common larch species are Larix decidua and Larix siberica.

This forest is a particularly wild place, and a source of tranquillity where oaks, Douglas firs, chestnuts and other fir trees will grow for decades to come, forming majestic stands that will restore the forest to its full splendour! The biodiversity in this forest is rich, and numerous actions have been implemented to preserve it.
