### Sessile Oak
A symbol of strength, endurance, and deep roots, the Sessile Oak has stood at the heart of European forests for thousands of years. It makes a powerful and **lasting gift to mark a milestone birthday, a graduation**, or any moment that deserves to be remembered for generations.
Home to more species than almost any other European tree, the Sessile Oak supports hundreds of insects, lichens, and fungi, which in turn attract bats, woodpeckers, and owls. A single mature oak can be an entire ecosystem in itself.
The Sessile Oak (Quercus petraea) is one of Europe's most ecologically important trees. Unlike its cousin the Pedunculate Oak, its acorns grow directly from the branch without a stalk — a small but defining detail that sets it apart in the forest.

### About Lacelle forest
### About Lacelle forest
The Lacelle forest is located in Corrèze (19) on the Limousin granite plateaus (Plateau des Millevaches) and is divided into three parts. An plot of 18 ha of meadows leased to a local farmer, a second plot of around 20 ha that was clear-cut back in 2013 and which has not been reconstituted, and a third plot of approximately 30 ha of tree stands. The Pradel stream runs through the plots. The tree stands will be managed as an irregular high forest, as will the clear-cut plot, on which reforestation is planned. Due to the clear-cutting carried out by the previous owner, which has not been reconstituted, it will take many years to recover a forest like this one but it has good potential for biodiversity. Our ambition is to manage this complex forest according to the principles of mixed forestry with a continuous cover, adopting Nature-based Solutions to restore and enhance biodiversity, while ensuring sustainable management of forest resources.
