### Norway Spruce
A symbol of tradition, family warmth, and festivity, the Norway Spruce is the tree of reunions and precious moments shared with those we love. It is the ideal gift to mark Christmas, a winter birth, or any occasion that deserves to be celebrated with warmth.
Its evergreen branches offer precious shelter for birds during the winter months, and its cones are a key food source for crossbills, tits, and squirrels. In the forest, it creates a cool, stable microclimate that supports understorey biodiversity.
The Norway Spruce (Picea abies) is the most widespread conifer in northern and central Europe, recognisable by its characteristic pyramidal shape and long pointed needles. It is the traditional Christmas tree par excellence, and also one of the most prized timbers in instrument-making for violins and guitars.

We acquired the Old Gravel forest in Nysum in December 2023. It is an old gravel pit located in Northern Jutland about 30 kilometers south of Aalborg, Denmark’s 4th largest city.
