The small-leaved linden (Tilia cordata) is a tree of the Malvaceae family, native to Europe, it can measure from 20 to 30 m with a continuous and rather slow growth (10 m in 20 years). These leaves are alternate heart-shaped, 3-8 cm long, finely serrated.
