Monterey Pine (Pinus radiata) is a member of the Pinaceae family, with cones that are 7 to 15 cm long, ovoid and all pointing towards the trunk. The bark is cracked and dark grey to brown in colour. The foliage is shiny green, the needles are grouped in threes.
