*The average expected gain shown is based on the following assumptions: the subscription is active for one year, the average harvesting horizon of the trees acquired is 50 years and all the trees delivered are worth, on average, 19 usd each. The expected gain is calculated using the formula presented in section 3.d) of the Notice of Information: "Determination of right to the product from the cut of trees that have reached their harvesting date within a given forest". It is therefore equivalent to an internal rate of return of 2% on the pre-tax amount invested.

Expected gain is how much we estimate your trees will be worth when they are harvested. Typically, their value increases by around 2% per year because the trees grow by approximately 2% in size each year. The initial value is the price you paid for the trees.
You will receive 100% of the value of the trees when they are felled, having done their job of keeping nature in balance. Forestry is a long-term project and so is tree ownership. With EcoTree, you are part of the whole journey and help protect forests for future generations. As your trees grow in value, it could be you, your children or even your grandchildren that benefit from your ownership.
We want to reward you for your loyalty, so whenever you reach 12 months of subscription, we give you an extra month for free! In other words, if you're subscribed to two trees a month, EcoTree gives you two free trees a year.
Every month, our forest manager, Vianney chooses trees to send to our wonderful subscribers. What species you get depends on the forests acquired by EcoTree, which species are available and how the trees build biodiversity. As a subscriber, you get priority when it comes to original and sometimes rare species, or trees with short harvest horizons.
You can stop your subscription at any time. Email us and we'll send you a cancellation form right away. You will still own all the trees you've already bought and if you just need a break, you can pause your subscription through your account instead.
