A year in the forest: 2024 wrapped

As we approach the end of the year, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you. Your unwavering support has been the driving force behind our efforts to protect ecosystems, restore biodiversity, and ensure sustainable forestry across Europe. Together, we’ve made incredible progress towards creating a greener and more environmentally responsible future.

2024 in Numbers
This year has been nothing short of extraordinary. Thanks to your support, we’ve achieved the following milestones:
- We acquired five new forests, four in France and one in Denmark, bringing our total to 62 forests under management.
- We stewarded 700 hectares of protected zones, including Natura 2000 and ZNIEFF areas and 150 hectares of wetlands.
- Together, we have initiated a total of 250 ecosystem restoration projects spanning Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, the U.K., Belgium, and Romania.
- We launched three groundbreaking Research & Development initiatives: A forestry project in Langonnet; a biochar project in La Chapelle Saint Rémy, and a climate adaptation project in the French Prealps.
- Shared knowledge and inspired action through five webinars and published six white papers, empowering individuals and businesses to take climate action.
- We engaged with over 15,000 people through events, fairs, and initiatives like our Climate Fresco.
And the work doesn’t stop there. Our planting season in France is still in full swing, and we’ll share updates on the number of trees planted early next year. Stay tuned for more exciting news!
