We took over this former agricultural area on the heart-shaped island in the Isefjord near Holbaek in 2023. Here we will establish a sustainably managed forest that benefits the local area and preserves and improves the local biodiversity and its ecosystems. We have already carried out the first baseline measurements on the potential for biodiversity and prepared a number of measures which will help preserve flora and fauna and improve the conditions for biodiversity. This agroforestry project will benefit the local ecosystem alongside the biodiversity actions we plan to initiate in our own forest.
