Located in the north, equidistant from Limoges and Angoulême, the small town of Confolens is situated in the heart of a region with a long history of agriculture. A land of vineyards and pastures, Charente produces the grapes used to make cognac, but remains less forested than the neighbouring Dordogne department. It is therefore appropriate to plant a new forest here, which will allow a rich ecosystem to develop. On these former agricultural plots of some 6 hectares, there are hedges that we will preserve, as well as the habitat trees that have their place in a mixed forest.
