### Expected gain
The expected gross gain corresponds to the amount (in the selected currency) that we will pay you back when your trees have been cut. It is based on the natural growth rate of a tree, which is estimated at around 2% per year. This expected gain is referred to as “gross" because it is calculated on the basis of the price of the tree excluding VAT.

### European wild pear
A symbol of discretion, authenticity, and beauty that reveals itself only to those who know how to look, the European wild pear tree is a rare tree that offers remarkable generosity to the wildlife around it. It is a sincere gift for someone who appreciates what must be earned and what is not seen at first glance.
Its white spring blossom is a valued nectar source for wild bees and pollinating insects, and its small, hard fruits feed many bird and mammal species throughout autumn and winter. Its presence in a bocage landscape is often a sign of an ancient and well-preserved countryside.
The European wild pear tree (Pyrus pyraster) is a shrub or small deciduous tree of the rose family, distinguished from the Common Pear by its very hard, small fruits and characteristic thorns. Very resistant to drought and limestone soils, it is one of the most discreet yet most precious trees in our countryside.

### About the La Salle Forest
### About the La Salle Forest
The La Salle forest is nestled in Northeastern France in the Vosges.
It is divided into several parcels, including a cutting area for replanting and charming deciduous groves. The forest is also crossed by a hiking trail. A small stream winds through the forest, creating a habitat rich in biodiversity. You'll also find the remains of an old forge.
