The Sycamore Maple (Acer pseudoplatanus) is a large tree species of the Aceracy family common in Europe. It is a tree with a slender stem up to 35-40 m high, the bark is first smooth and yellowish grey, then reddish grey and darker and darker on old trees where it detaches, The leaves are opposite, deciduous, palmate with five pointed lobes, with obtuse teeth, separated by acute sinuses.
This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
