Rowan (Sorbus aucuparia) also called Mountain-ash, is a small tree of the Rosaceae family, it can reach 15 m in height but rarely exceeds 7 m. Its leaves are green on both sides and consist of 17 or 15 double-toothed lanceolate leaflets connected to the petiole.
This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
