Common Walnut

The common walnut (Juglans regia) also known as the Persian walnut, English walnut, Carpathian walnut, and Madeira walnut, is a tree native to Eurasia, it is part of the family of juglandaceae. They can grow up to 20-25 m tall when growing alone, while in a stand they can grow up to 30 m high. Their leaves are deciduous, alternate, rather large, and are composed of 5 to 9 oval, high-pitched leaflets, the largest terminal.

This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
