The common walnut (Juglans regia) is a tree native to Eurasia, it is part of the family of juglandaceae. They can grow up to 20-25 m tall when growing alone, while in a stand they can grow up to 30 m high. Their leaves are deciduous, alternate, rather large, are composed of 5 to 9 oval, high-pitched leaflets, the largest terminal.
