Taeda pine is a demanding softwood that, when planted in suitable soil, has high growth potential.
Native to the southeastern United States, it is also called incense pine, torch pine or loblolly pine. It is characterized by a straight trunk with thin bark.
Unlike maritime pine, its root system is able to penetrate the alios layer to provide good stability. This pine tree has very good wind resistance.
