About Montplonne Forest
The Pear tree (pyrus communis) is a fruit tree of the rosaceae family, native to West Asia and Europe. It can reach 15 to 20 m high. The leaves carried by a long petiole of 1,5-5 cm, have an oval blade, with finely toothed edge in saw, 2-10 cm long.
This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
