The Large-leaved Linden (Tilia platyphyllos) is a tree of the tiliaceae family, a species of European origin. It can reach between 30 and 40 m high, it has large oblique heart-shaped leaves (10-15 cm), felted on their underside, with yellow-white hairs at the angle of the veins.
This species makes the forest stronger and more resilient, which improves the health of the entire plot by promoting biodiversity. Its expected profitability is linked to the logging of the stand where it grows.
