### Sycamore Maple
**A symbol of stability**, generosity, and a soothing presence, the Sycamore maple is an imposing tree whose reassuring silhouette leaves a lasting mark on landscapes and memories alike. It is **a gift that embodies solidity and is ideal for celebrating a lasting friendship**, loyalty, or any relationship you hope will stand the test of time.
Its spring flowers are among the most nectar-rich of any native tree, attracting dozens of bee and pollinating insect species. Its foliage shelters many invertebrates, and its samaras are a popular food source for finches and bullfinches in autumn.
The Sycamore maple (*Acer pseudoplatanus* ) is a large deciduous tree native to the mountain regions of central and southern Europe. Resistant to strong winds and poor soils, it is often planted in exposed areas to protect farmland, homes, and forest edges.

### About Louverné forest
Located in the northwest of France, this land of about 12 hectares will soon see the growth of a peri-urban forest, a forest placed between an urban area and the countryside. Cut by National Road 162, the forest will be neighbours to the Bigottière estate and its 19th-century castle. The land is divided into three plots, one on the top of a hill with a northeast-facing slope and another on the west bank of the Pont Martin stream.
There are two beautiful ponds with splendid den trees and a wetland. The flora mainly consists of [Ash](/en/species/11), Common Oak, Norway Maple and Sycamore Maple, Herb-Robert Geranium, Cleaver, Hawthorn and [Wild cherry](/en/species/12). We plan to add more plantations to the area.
