### Expected gain
The expected gross gain corresponds to the amount (in the selected currency) that we will pay you back when your trees have been cut. It is based on the natural growth rate of a tree, which is estimated at around 2% per year. This expected gain is referred to as “gross" because it is calculated on the basis of the price of the tree excluding VAT.

### Cedar
**A symbol of longevity**, wisdom, and absolute greatness, the Cedar is one of the most majestic and history-laden trees on the planet, revered for millennia across the civilisations of the Mediterranean and the Orient. It is the perfect gift to mark an exceptional event. **The perfect wedding, birthday**, or any moment gift you wish to anchor in eternity.
Its wide-spreading branches offer remarkable shelter for nesting birds, and its evergreen foliage creates a stable microclimate that supports biodiversity even at the heart of winter. Its exceptional resistance to difficult climatic conditions makes it a precious ally for the forests of tomorrow.
The Cedar (*Cedrus*) is a majestic conifer native to the mountains of the Mediterranean and the Himalayas, with some specimens living for several centuries. Recognisable by its monumental silhouette and needles grouped in characteristic tufts, it is one of the most iconic and admired trees in the world.

### About Lacelle forest
### About Lacelle forest
The Lacelle forest is located in Corrèze (19) on the Limousin granite plateaus (Plateau des Millevaches) and is divided into three parts. An plot of 18 ha of meadows leased to a local farmer, a second plot of around 20 ha that was clear-cut back in 2013 and which has not been reconstituted, and a third plot of approximately 30 ha of tree stands. The Pradel stream runs through the plots. The tree stands will be managed as an irregular high forest, as will the clear-cut plot, on which reforestation is planned. Due to the clear-cutting carried out by the previous owner, which has not been reconstituted, it will take many years to recover a forest like this one but it has good potential for biodiversity. Our ambition is to manage this complex forest according to the principles of mixed forestry with a continuous cover, adopting Nature-based Solutions to restore and enhance biodiversity, while ensuring sustainable management of forest resources.
