In fact, 80% of the Earth’s terrestrial biodiversity is found in forests. #### Adapt to climate change Healthy ecosystems are less exposed to the danger of natural hazards and better prepared for the impact of extreme weather events. #### Protect plants and animals More than 1 million animal and plant species are in danger of extinction. By protecting their habitats, we help them survive. ### About the project ### About the project Help us restore 2 ponds in the Pézarches forest (near Paris) to support and enrich biodiversity. Ponds are important for a wide range of species that need them for drinking, bathing, breeding and eating (birds, rodents, etc.). Read moreRead less ### Our actions - February to September 2023 - November 2023 - From 2024 The steps - February to September 2023 - November 2023 - From 2024 #### February to September 2023 Hydraulic and biological diagnosis (study to define the work needed to restore the ecological functions of the ponds) #### November 2023 Restoration work (dredging, redefinition of banks, creation of hibernaculum) #### From 2024 Post-works biological monitoring (N+1, N+2, N+3, N+5).
