In fact, 80% of the Earth’s terrestrial biodiversity is found in forests. #### Adapt to climate change Healthy ecosystems are less exposed to the danger of natural hazards and better prepared for the impact of extreme weather events. #### Protect plants and animals More than 1 million animal and plant species are in danger of extinction. By protecting their habitats, we help them survive. ### About the project ### About the project Help us restore 2 ponds in the Pézarches forest (near Paris) to support and enrich biodiversity. Ponds are important for a wide range of species that need them for drinking, bathing, breeding and eating (birds, rodents, etc.). This monitoring is necessary to measure the impact of the work on the environment and to adapt our management if necessary. ### Gallery ##### biodiversity\_project.gallery.title ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/01.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/02.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/03.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/04.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/05.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/06.jpg?d=240x135) PreviousNext ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/01.jpg?d=240x135)![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/02.jpg?d=240x135)![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/03.jpg?d=240x135)![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/04.jpg?d=240x135)![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/05.jpg?d=240x135)![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/06.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/01.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/02.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/03.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/04.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/05.jpg?d=240x135) ![Pézarches forest](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/forests/foret-de-pezarches/biodiversity/06.jpg?d=240x135) See more photos ![ecotree](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/drone/lanrivain-fr-03.jpg?d=70x70)Iain has started a [subscription of 1 tree in Denmark](/en/grow-your-own-danish-forests) ![ecotree](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/drone/lanrivain-fr-03.jpg?d=70x70)Steven has started a [subscription of 1 tree in France](/en/grow-your-own-forests) ![ecotree](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/drone/lanrivain-fr-03.jpg?d=70x70)Cara has started a [subscription of 1 tree in France](/en/grow-your-own-forests) ![ecotree](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/drone/lanrivain-fr-03.jpg?d=70x70)Kirsten True has started a [subscription of 1 tree in Denmark](/en/grow-your-own-danish-forests) ![ecotree](https://img.ecotree.green/flora/drone/lanrivain-fr-03.jpg?d=70x70)Florian has started a [subscription of 1 tree in France](/en/grow-your-own-forests) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/essence/0001/03/816a54b1590715cfc2bbdc9e313dd1aebf2275cc.jpeg?d=70x70)RALPH purchased [1 Redwood](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/7644) from Priziac forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/essence/0001/04/b8ec8531717785d6083deea60ccaa53b48002bc4.jpeg?d=70x70)Kevin purchased [2 Downy Oak](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/8293) from Guiscriff 4 Forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/pack/0001/06/3ba24296b4cbc7917ed762f9d9ea42b3d2a67c89.jpg?d=70x70)Margareta (Estrids gåva) purchased [1 Perfect Forest Gift bundle](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/8376) from Priziac forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/hero/0001/05/3999b46899e4791fd1ff5dccab53f800a2c7edc5.jpg?d=70x70)Kida helped preserve 5.02 m² of the [m2 of restored natural ecosystem in Nouic Forest, France ](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/6243) project in Nouïc Forest (Haute-Vienne, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/essence/0001/04/b8ec8531717785d6083deea60ccaa53b48002bc4.jpeg?d=70x70)RALPH purchased [1 Downy Oak](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/8293) from Guiscriff 4 Forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/essence/0001/04/b8ec8531717785d6083deea60ccaa53b48002bc4.jpeg?d=70x70)English purchased [1 Downy Oak](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/8293) from Guiscriff 4 Forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/essence/0001/04/b8ec8531717785d6083deea60ccaa53b48002bc4.jpeg?d=70x70)Ambre gave away [1 Downy Oak](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/8293) from Guiscriff 4 Forest (Morbihan, FR) ![ecotree](https://bocdn.ecotree.green/hero/0001/06/ddc91d3520fa3c681dadf6066aa6583f7ffd98a5.jpg?d=70x70)Nadine helped preserve 15.99 m² of the [m2 of restored natural ecosystem in Langoelan Forest, France ](http://172.31.46.178/en/article/6251) project in Langoëlan Forest (Morbihan, FR) ### Added.
