    Overview

    The Palotas forest is located in the Creuse between the communes of Saint-Dizier-Leyrenne and Châtelus-le-Marcheix. This forest is a wild and peaceful place where oaks, Douglas firs, chestnut trees and other fir trees grow. The trees will grow for decades to come until they form majestic forests giving this forest all its splendour! Part of the forest was clear-cut before we took over the management.

    Our actions

    The O3Agri company sets up the hives on the appropriate sites. The health of the swarms is monitored throughout the season.

    Pollen collection and analysis in partnership with BeeOdiversity to determine if the food resource is constant and sufficient throughout the season.
